Born into a family torn with differences, Marcellus quickly found himself to be the pride and joy of only his mother whom overcompensated as much as possible for the lack of a stunning father figure. As he grew, Marcellus became displeased immensely with his inheritance, and the sole member of his family unit in which he lays entirely the blame. Marcellus now finds himself enabling situations he is well aware will upset Arcturus; engaging in activities unfit for such a man in his position as well as the downright refusal of producing an heir, gives Marcellus what he believes to be an edge over his father. A father, Marcellus insists, will soon find himself meaning very little to the kingdom in which he so readily enjoys controlling.
